Fair trade depends on demand from consumers. It will not continue to grow unless people support it. Here are some ways of doing that.

What can you do to help?
- Join Oxfam's Make Trade Fair Campaign
Fair Trade guarantees economic, environmental, social and political long-term sustainability. Small farmers can continue to live in their community and support their families. - Join Fair Trade Toronto's Second Cup Campaign
A campaign launched in the Summer of 2003 by Caféjustice in Montreal is asking Second Cup to sell Fair Trade coffee. We have agreed to add our voice to demand Second Cup to sell Fair Trade coffee. We had participated in a similar campaign in 2001 to pressure Starbucks to sell Fair Trade coffee. - Promote the Sale of Fair Trade Coffee
Ask for fair trade coffee where you usually buy your coffee. Ask to speak to the manager, and briefly explain the concept of fair trade, and why it would make good business sense for the establishment to offer fair trade coffee. - Buy Fair Trade Products
The first thing you need to do is identify Fair Trade products. Check to see if the product has the Fair Trade certified symbol like the one shown here.
